Ondrey Zintaer (synths and sax)
It is now 4 years from his first sound or noise experiments and also first DIY tape releases. Till his first steps were through experimenting with musical instruments and cheap guitar effects. From the very start of his recordings and live gigs was his creation oriented to poetry reading over the experimental music and improvisations with effected musical instruments and no input system. During the corona quarantine he found himself more curious into experimenting with real playing the instruments in improvisation style then experimenting with sound. It is almost one year now from buying his saxophone that he completely fell into the space of improvisation. Together with Paolo Tognola and Filippo Bøtøx Cocozza created ZTB Trio. The trio produced an album “Fear of War” inspired by the situation in Ukraine.
Paolo Tognola (piano)
Began studying piano at the age of four. In 1996 took his classical high school diploma at the Liceo Classico Arnaldo in Brescia, thus being able to attend the university courses on modern and contemporary music of Prof. Maestro G. Borio at the School of Paleography and Musical Philology of Cremona, learning about dodecaphonic and discovering the great composers of the twentieth century. Attends free improvisation seminars and masterclasses, held by Robert Dick and Roscoe Mitchell, Barre Phillips, Gunter Sommer, The Tiptons, Carla Bley, etc. After gaining experience as a season player, decide to indulge his nature and focus on jazz and avant-garde music. In addition to live activity, he composes soundtracks, characterized by the jazz language, for some theatrical companies (The circle of Gesso, La Luna, Racconti, etc ...). He teaches or has taught in the following Music Schools or Academies: L'Ottava Music Art Institute, DodiciNote Academy, Creative Workshop, Solo Musica Music School, Academy of Sounds, Garda Music School, AMM (Concesio BS), Gilles Tosoni Music School, Peschiera Town Music Band School del Garda, Curiosarte Laboratories, ABC Music School. He also writes reviews for “Free Fall Jazz”.
Filippo Bøtøx Cocozza (drums)
Started to play drums when he was 14 years old, under the influences of Dave Grohl, Vinnie Paul and extreme metal area. 3 years ago have changed his playing in the way of noise, free jazz and experimental music mainly inspired by the music of John Zorn. He likes to play drums in every way from tribal influences to free form/noise, like Milford Graves, Balazs Pandi and others. His "art name" is BØTØX. That's the name he use for his solo project and collaboration with ZTB Trio and others musicians in the International Collective of Free Jazz.
